Background Art
Initially dipping my toe into backgrounds was something I dreaded until I began to get used to it, now part of my process for comics and commissions alike is to do the background art in advance before doing the characters. I tend to thrive most with nature scenes, so I make myself focus on cities and interiors the most. I really like art deco interiors the most and I think it really shows in my work.
RPG MAKER ASSETS
Wanting to work in Game Art but not wanting to work in coding has narrowed down indie development progress, or rather, it did, until I discovered RPG maker and found myself enjoying asset creation. The assets you see here are for an Indie Game titled Islands Abyss, but they may not all be part of the final product.
3D MODELING
Something I've wanted to do since childhood is work in 3D, which is part of why I want to work in Game Art, in 2023 I began to explore Blender, something that's probably obvious I'm still new at. I'm currently getting used to making the models and rigging armatures, But I would like to work on animation soon as well.
PREVIOUS COMMISSIONS
In previous works, I got to do a comic series, make YouTube thumbnails, and help fan made ideas come to life in various fun creative ways that got me to meet and befriend a lot of inspired people. Commissions are my favorite part of the freelance art job, especially when it comes to redesigning original characters.
FAN ART
Everyone always says to never include fan art into your portfolio, but I'm proud of a good portion of my non original works so I thought some of these would be worth a share, but I still saved them for last just in case.
